New Coca‑Cola Visitors Experience: an Education in Itself

The doors of the new Coca‑Cola Visitors Experience in Lisburn were opened on October 22nd 2010 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, as part of the new manufacturing, bottling and warehousing facility at Knockmore Hill in Lisburn. Since December 1st it’s now open to free public tours as well. We’re confident that it will follow the example set by our other Visitor and Education Centres, providing students and members of the public with a practical look at how Coca‑Cola works, as well as sharing a little bit of the fun  that goes along with one of the world’s most famous brands.

Coca‑Cola has a long history in Ireland, and we’re always keen to open up our shared story in an educational and entertaining way. We’re committed to the communities where we work, and as there are about 600 people working with us in Lisburn alone, we’re very much a part of the community ourselves. The new Visitors Experience is a great way to get that community involvement across. Up to 10,000 guests a year will be able to experience the story of Coca‑Cola in Ireland, and get a chance to see the process of making the famous drink itself.

Join us and discover the connections that link Coca‑Cola and communities in Ireland, north and south. Tours are free and you can get in touch with the Visitors Centre Coordinator on 02892 642268 or via email at visitors.experience@cchellenic.com
