There are no recommended daily upper limits for caffeine consumption in the European Union, or in Ireland, except for pregnant women. Pregnant women are advised to limit their daily intake of caffeine to 200mg a day.

The European Commission and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland both state that caffeinated drinks are safe to consume daily in moderation.
