Do you know a Future Flame?

Giving young people in Northern Ireland the chance to carry the Olympic Flame

Future Flames in Belfast

In 2012, Coca‑Cola will be a Presenting Partner of the Olympic Torch Relay for the eighth time. The route will start at Land’s End in Cornwall, England on 19th May 2012, passing through Northern Ireland between 3rd and 7th June, before arriving in the Olympic Stadium in London on 27th July 2012. We’re using our involvement to shine a light on young people across Northern Ireland and celebrate the great things they get up to every day.

Through our Future Flames campaign, we’ll be giving inspirational young people in Northern Ireland the once in a lifetime chance to carry the Olympic Flame next year. We’re encouraging everyone to nominate young people they know who are using their passions to make a positive difference to their local communities – be it through sport, music, dance, or the environment.

"We are delighted to bring the Coca‑Cola Olympic Torch tour to Belfast, so that the people of Northern Ireland can celebrate all the amazing things that local young people are doing. We want everyone in Northern Ireland to nominate the inspirational young people they know and give them the chance to carry the Olympic Flame next summer", says James Williams, Director, Olympic Torch Relay, Coca‑Cola.
