Stevia is a sturdy green plant whose leaves contain a unique source of natural sweetness.
It’s grown all over the world, and is fast becoming one of the most popular crops on the market as more food and drink manufacturers look to use stevia plant extract as a zero-calorie sweetener to reduce the amount of sugar in their products. We currently use it in some of our drinks like Sprite, Coca-Cola Life and glaceau vitaminwater.

The stevia plant is native to Paraguay, but most modern day cultivation of stevia happens in China and South America. Commercial stevia is not grown in the rainforest, and in fact the majority of the world’s stevia harvest comes from plains areas.
Taste is a high priority for us. With our years of experience and rigorous product development process, we have invested in making sure that Coca‑Cola products containing our stevia sweetener taste great and we continue to explore opportunities to use it in more of our drinks.
