Stevia is a sturdy green plant whose leaves contain a unique source of natural sweetness.
It’s grown all over the world, and is fast becoming one of the most popular crops on the market as more food and drink manufacturers look to use stevia plant extract as a zero-calorie sweetener to reduce the amount of sugar in their products. We currently use it in some of our drinks like Sprite, Coca-Cola Life and glaceau vitaminwater.

The stevia plant is native to Paraguay, but most modern day cultivation of stevia happens in China and South America. Commercial stevia is not grown in the rainforest, and in fact the majority of the world’s stevia harvest comes from plains areas.
We’ve spent a lot of time making sure that our drinks containing stevia extract, like Sprite and Coca-Cola Life, still taste great. We want to give you as much choice as we can when it comes to our drinks.
Did you know? In 2014, we launched Coca‑Cola Life, a cola sweetened with a blend of sugar and stevia plant extract. We worked hard to make sure it met our high standards and were delighted by the overwhelmingly positive reactions
A sugar free sweetener from natural sources.
Stevia leaves contain a unique source of natural sweetness. They’re calorie free. The plant itself belongs to the chrysanthemum family. We use stevia plant extract to reduce the sugar and calories in some of our drinks such as Sprite, glaceau vitaminwater and Coca-Cola Life.

Thanks to sweeteners, we are we able to offer lower-calorie and no-calorie versions of your favourite drinks.
