We first began selling Coca-Cola in 1886, when Dr John S Pemberton charged customers just five cents a bottle. Since then we’ve become the world’s leading soft drinks manufacturer with more than 700,000 employees and 500 brands.
Atlanta is where you’ll find our head office for The Coca-Cola Company, but we also have teams of scientists, marketers and salespeople in more than 200 countries.
Let us tell you a little about the team here in Ireland…
Coca-Cola Ireland (CCI)
Coca-Cola Ireland is a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company and responsible for marketing 20 brands across the island of Ireland. There are approximately 30 employees at our offices in central Dublin.
Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland
Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC) is our local bottling company and is responsible for the manufacturing, distribution, sales and trade marketing of our drinks across the island of Ireland. Coca-Cola HBC also produces some additional products, including Deep RiverRock, Fruice and Vittel and has multiple sites across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, employing around 1,000 people.
CCI and Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland work together closely and share the same views on corporate responsibility. Take a look at the range of drinks produced, and the shapes and sizes they’re available in.
