If you have visited this site regularly you may have noticed that we have not reported updates to this page for several years. This is due to the application of our Guiding Principles  for well-being related scientific research and third-party engagement, which began in 2016. The Guiding Principles define how we engage and provide financial support for well-being scientific research, health professionals and scientific experts, and other third-party organisations. You may view our Guiding Principles here.

Specific to health professionals and scientific experts, our Guiding Principles state: The Coca-Cola Company (its subsidiaries and/or branches including The Coca-Cola Foundation,) will not, either directly or through a third party (such as a trade association) provide all of the funding for well-being related research. We will instead provide financial support for such research only if a non-Coca-Cola entity bears at least 50% of the research costs. It also will not pay third parties any compensation or incentives, or reimburse their travel costs, to increase awareness of well-being scientific research. In addition, it will not be the sole provider of any funding for programs that engage the health professional community.

While we do not have updates to the listing below for the disclosure period, 30 September 2017 to 30 September 2018, we will continue to maintain this page as part of our transparent reporting process and disclose any financial commitments we make to health and well-being scientific research or partnerships that meet the criteria outlined in our transparency website.

Below is a list of experts Coca-Cola [worked with from 1 January 2010 through to 8 December 2016. The total amount spent during this time for travel grants, related expenses and professional fees for the Company’s work in Ireland with these experts is €14,336.
