The two-year initiative reached more than 200 primary schools and 4,000 pupils in the most disadvantaged areas across the four provinces on the island of Ireland.
Led by the University of Ulster, the all-island roll-out was achieved in partnership with Dublin City University (for Leinster), University College Cork (for Munster), Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and Institute of Technology, Sligo (for Connacht).
Sport for LIFE also gives aspiring undergraduates the chance to gain professional and practical work experience to help them enter the teaching profession.
