Marram Grass Planting Day
Inchnadoney in Cork, Portmarnock in Dublin, Wexford and Cruit Island
When: Friday 6 May
What: Head down to the beach and have fun planting some coastal flora and fauna, all while you learn how to improve the sand dunes that protect our coasts from erosion.

4 Corners Clean Up
Where: Dublin, Blennerville, Fanore, Maharees, Rathlin Island, Ballyhalbert (East), Culmore Point (Derry)

Clare Water Safety beach clean and competition
Where: Whitestrand, Miltown Malbay new training centre
When: Sunday 8 May (12 noon)
12:00 – Beach clean
1:30 / 2pm – Surf lifesaving competition, fun events
3pm – Yummy barbecue (weather permitting)

Love Your Coast Competition
Where: Nationwide
When: Monday 9 May
What: Get snap-happy and enter the Coca-Cola Coast photography competition with your chance to win 5,000.

Wonders of Seaweed
Where: Brother Hubbard, Dublin City
When: Monday 9 May at 7pm
What: Learn all about how this wonderful, Irish product is a special ingredient in so many foods and beauty products. Spaces are limited, so you will need to book a space to avoid missing out.

Beat the Microbead Day
Where: Nationwide
When: Wednesday 11 May
What: Microbeads, like the tiny particles you get in face wash, flow straight from the bathroom drain into the sewage system. They’re too tiny to filter out and once they enter the marine environment, they’re impossible to remove.

Mick Mackey Lunchtime Talk
Where: Museum of Archaeology, Dublin
When: Thursday 12 May at 1pm
What: Learn all about fur seal pups, leopard seals and penguins, with marine biologist Mick Mackey.

Open Air Cinema screening Jaws
Where: Sandymount Beach
When: Thursday 12 May at 9pm
What: Enjoy a special screening of this iconic film. There’s hot coffee, popcorn and cakes and be sure to bring a blanket so you can snuggle while you watch.

Free yoga classes
Where: Strandhill (1pm), Cavan Town Playground (1pm) and Skerries (7pm)
When: Friday 13 May
What: Coca-Cola Clean Coasts is offering free yoga classes with a 2-minute beach clean to kick them off.

Fitness on the beach
Where: Blackrock Beach, Salthill
When: Friday 13 May
What: Get fit with a fitness class on the beach.

Mindfulness walk
Where: Dingle Coast Co. Kerry
When: Friday 13 May at 11:15am
What: Enjoy the health benefits of a mindfulness walk. The walk sets off from the Coastguard Station and heads to Dingle Lighthouse.

National Two Minute Beach Clean Day – #2MBC
Where: Nationwide
When: Saturday 14 May
What: Donate just two minutes of your time to help clean the beach. Take a snap of the litter you collect and post your snap on social media with the hashtag #2MBC and be in with a chance to win a Clean Coasts prize.

What: After a 2-minute beach clean you can stretch it out with a free yoga class.

Seal Release and Beach Clean
Where: Wexford, Curracloe beach
When: Sunday 15 May
What: Get the beach ready to release a rescue seal back into its natural habitat.

Carlingford border clean up

What: Muck in with a clean-up of the border between Northern Ireland and the ROI in the seaside town of Carlingford.
