What is The Coca‑Cola Thank You Fund?

In 2018, the Fund wants to support non-profit organisations with new ideas aimed at bridging the divide between education and the workplace, fostering diversity and inclusion, empowering young people to become the leaders of the future and supporting youths taking an innovative approach to sustainability in local communities.
For the purposes of the Fund, young people are defined as those aged between 16 and 25 years of age.
What is this year’s theme?
In 2018, the Fund will focus on one overall theme – ‘Working with communities in Ireland and Northern Ireland to inspire and support young people.’
Within this theme, the Fund is seeking applications which fall under one or more of the following four categories:
- Bridging the divide between education and the workplace
- Fostering diversity and inclusion in youth communities
- Empowering young people to become the leaders of the future
- Youths taking an innovative approach to sustainability in local communities
How will the Coca‑Cola Thank You Fund be allocated in 2018?
The Fund’s application form facilitates entrants in selecting which funding amount is most suitable for their project - €5,000, €10,000 or €30,000.
The judges will take this preference on board in their consultations but in some case the funding awarded may be higher or lower than that requested.

How are the winning organisations selected?
We accept all applications online through our website. Please read our Terms and Conditions to check if your organisation and project is eligible for the fund. We also have top tips for completing the online application form.
After the application forms have been received, our expert panel of judges will choose a shortlist of 20 organisations to go forward to the next phase, which will involve presenting and discussing their ideas in further detail with the panel of judges.
Each of the 20 organisations will be called to an interview with the judging panel where they will present their projects to the judges.

When will the winners be announced?
Following the pitch phase, our panel of judges will announce the winners at Zeminar, Ireland’s largest youth conference, in November 2018. The winners will be notified personally and published on our website: www.coca-cola.ie/thankyou.
